Jian Zi
At any time of the day you'll probably find people playing this Chinese version of hacky sack in People's Square, Dalian.
I don’t think I have ever seen a person above 30 playing with a hacky sack in the US. In China, however, I think I see more people in their forties to fifties playing with Jien Zi than I do people in their twenties. The frustrating part for me is how difficult it is to take pictures of this. I cant tell you how many times I have tried to photograph people playing Jien Zi, only to have them stop and watch me take pictures instead. This man also stopped to watch me take pictures, but I was able to take this photo before he did.
